From sunny Orange County, California comes new pop/rock band 'Between California and Summer.' The youthful five piece group has released one EP 'Ghost,' in Fall 2014, which features the hit single - San Jose. Produced by Nathan Scott of We Shot the Moon, the band's debut EP has reached over 20K plays and received numerous praises from leaders in the music scene. 2016 started with the band going into the studio with acclaimed pop punk producer Kyle Black to produce their followup EP which will include 5 new tracks.
Stephen Christian, lead singer of Anberlin on 'San Jose':
"The vocalist's range is really great, I love the top end ‘scream’ at the pinnacle of the chorus. I love the Taking Back Sunday influence in the song, this neo pop punk song is undeniable, great song!"
2015 turned out to be very successful for the up-and-coming band. After forming for less than half a year, the group rightfully earned their spot sharing the stage with national acts on The Ernie Ball Stage at The 2015 Vans Warped Tour in Ventura, CA. Venue shows included playing with bands such as The Downtown Fiction, Anarbor, This Wild Life, Secondhand Serenade, and many others.
Between California and Summer are also scheduled to perform at the 2016 So What Music Festival (Dallas, TX), The Summer Meltdown (Santa Clarita, CA), and 2016 Vans Warped Tour (Pomona, CA).
